IN AN ORDINARY MAN'S LIFE

  DOW G  I was jobless for few years. I can still remember how difficult those years were for me. I didn't know what to do in the entire period of the time. I spent most of the time gossiping, roaming with friends and lying idle at home. I was a burden to the family. Now, I could secure my livelihood somehow. But, is that enough?  I see many people around me who literally do not do anything. In the name of work they do just something, whether they are skilled or not, for a few hours in a week. And some do not do anything and depend upon others for bread and others. It doesn't mean that they are not fit to do any work. They can work hard to earn money for a better lifestyle.  Many of us, before starting a work, do not know what to do and where to do or what will be the result of that work. First, we need to find out the dexterity and ability to do work. Secondly, am I interested in doing the work? Thirdly, will it be able to meet my expected gain or is this sufficient...

  DOW G Who is not shy? If you conduct a survey, I assume, you will find that 85 percent of your respondents would reply that they feel shy in certain situations. The rest, the 15 percent, would lie to you. Everyone feels shyness at least for a moment depending on situations.  I'm a very shy person. I encountered lots of problems in my life. I can say to you, my shyness almost ruined my life. I avoided many life changing events due to shyness. Even I hesitated to meet people who could help me. During my student life I felt shy among my classmates and teachers. I felt awkward participating in group activities.  Suddenly I realized my shyness was the big impediment to success. I could not do anything except pray to God, but it was futile.  Now I'm able to control it up to an extent not fully. I feel I'll soon overcome it. DOW G Do you want to be extraordinary? I know, yes. Who wants to be missing among the masses? To be extraordinary, you need extraordinary qualities in you or extraordinary achievements in your life. But it's not possible for everyone. We know people who are shining in different fields. We also know their incomes, lifestyles, luxuries, interests, biographies or parts of biographies etc. They can be found easily in newspapers, television channels, social media platforms etc. We talk about them and grasp what they talk about or what is written about them. But people like us are only known to our relatives, surroundings and some connections.  We are ordinary people.  Every ordinary person has their own stories to tell or share. Sometimes I wonder if I were a cult figure in society! I also want to be the centre of attraction among the masses. But I failed.
